Young and jaded Elizabeth meets shy and kind-hearted Johnny and an unlikely attraction soon develops. However, Elizabeth is afraid of letting anyone new into her life so quickly ends things with Johnny. Soon after, Johnny gets in a life threatening accident but is saved by a supernatural force. This force however has side effects and with his second chance on life, he must decide whether to stay with Elizabeth but possibly endanger her or leave forever.
