There's a new gang in town and these boys know how to handle a bike! Supermoto was invented in the USA in the late 70s as an event designed to find the best biker overall from a range of multi-disciplined competitors. A cult in France for two decades, the sport has finally caught fire in Britain. The introduction of the ACU British Championship in 2003 in conjunction with the development of the FIM World Championship ensured that Supermoto is the fastest growing form of motorcycle sport. With this has come a new breed of Supermoto specialists: champion Warren Steele, maverick Ady Smith and the raw talent of Christian Iddon. And it's not just competition riding either. Combining the spills and thrills of dirt riding with the finesse of road racing, supermoto is not only entertaining crowds at events worldwide, but it's also become THE style of bike to be seen on. Keep your eyes peeled as you are just as likely to see Supermoto riders tearing through the city, as ripping up country terrain! Get ready for 75 minutes of stoppies, wheel-to-wheel racing, rear wheel steering and lots of close shaves. Life begins at 45 degrees! This is Supermoto.
