21 year old Tori knows that her hopes and dreams are far beyond what resides for her in the United States, and she will do whatever it takes to get where she needs to go in pursuit of her own happiness; even if it means leaving the U. S. to find a better future in another country. The charming aspiring model, and rap artist, Adom, only hopes and dreams of seeing himself rising above the desolate land of west Africa in finding rescue from his home town in Nigeria. While Tori, the beautiful brunette of California see herself escaping American injustices, a diminished level of unity in black communities, and the many degrading fiasco's that's mistaken for love in black American relationships. She imagines herself breaking free to find a land she can truly call home, a place where she can for once feel that she belongs and also find true love, as well as adopting a traditional culture, and to find freedom. A story between two different people who live among two different worlds, see a better future for themselves through migration to different continents.
