Trapped in the Night: English / Spanish Juan Nicolas Tineo

"[...] Trapped in the Night is, from a literary point of view, a gem of great value, because the poetic voice manages to link with subtlety the reality of both nations, describing the unfolding of his life in both of them and how a human being faces the challenge of going away and leaving his roots behind in order to start an uncertain and troubled life." ?Gisela Vives (Colombia / New Jersey)"Beginning with the title of this long poem, divided into verses in order to shape it as a chapbook, the poet chooses the night as the ideal state in which to let himself get overwhelmed by nostalgia and, then, transmogrify it into verses." ? Mónica González Velázquez (México)
