Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities Uwumutabazi Lydie

Early intervention services become meaningful when children with disabilities are given a welcoming environment by peers, all children, families and educators. Educators should be aware that families are children's first and most influential teachers. Families are actively encouraged to cooperate with educators about curriculum decisions for the success of learning of children with disabilities. Children with disabilities are also given opportunities to fully participate in inclusive school as their peers without disabilities and are provided with the additional support services.
