Nepal is a country, which is plagued by poverty. Poverty is harsh on the people who live in the rural parts of the country, especially on women as they are spared from the opportunities that can make them stand equally as men. Micro Credit has helped the poor in understanding the importance of saving and investment and acquiring skill based trainings that help in making them independent and successful in life. This book shows how the micro credit program has made a socio-economic impact on the lives of women belonging to Nepal.
