Neutralization of venom by physical agents, a technique, which would specifically destroy the venom toxicity and not cause any physiological imbalance, was envisaged. The electrical field generated in the shock treatment probably causes structural impairments in venom components ? the consequent altered interactions with the target tissue / system as indicated by the death postponement vouch for such possibilities.
