Despite the numerous advantages brought about by use I. T?s in enhancing resource sharing, university libraries in Nairobi metropolitan are not reaping the full potential. This study sought to analyze the constraints associated with the use of I. T?s in resource sharing among university libraries in Nairobi metropolitan. The study adopted a survey design. The sample was made up of university librarians and section heads from the selected universities. 63 Questionnaires were issued to library sections? heads and 6 university librarians were interviewed to validate the information given by the section heads librarians. The researcher used SPSS and Microsoft Excel data to analyze and presented the data collected. The study found out that University libraries in Nairobi metropolitan have adopted and use several ICT based products like the internet, the electronic books, electronic journals and websites. All the libraries in the metropolitan are members of KLISC where they share resources through a common subscription. There is no any form of peer to peer resource sharing among libraries in the metropolitan but there is minimal sharing among sister campuses.
