Industrial Location Under Globalisation in India: Evidence from Unorganised Manufacturing Industries

The geography of industrialization in many countries, developing as well as developed, has been undergoing a change over the last few decades as the economic integration and globalization process has led to uneven distribution of economic activities across countries and across regions within countries. This book is intended to provide new perspectives on the process of regional industrialization, especially unorganised manufacturing industries in the pre- and post-reforms periods in India. The book will benefit the students of economics and regional studies, academic researchers and regional policy makers in understanding the dynamics of industrial location and its importance in regional economic development.
