At the Master's Feet
Sadhu Sundar Singh
In Hinduism, a sadhu is an ascetic who has given up the goals of modern life and instead is dedicated to achieving liberation through meditation and contemplation of God. Sundar Singh is a remarkable individual who was born into a Sikh family in India and, as a teen, had an encounter with the risen Jesus which profoundly changed his life. However, he saw Christianity brought to India by foreigners who had little understanding of the local culture and customs. Sundar Singh thus became a sadhu so that he could dedicate his life to Christ and bringing the Gospel message of salvation to his fellow men. At the Master's Feet is Singh's writing on discipleship, salvation, eternity, and what it means to be a follower of Christ. His work is truly inspirational to all those who are seekers.
