This is a story of a child during the Vietnam-French war to regain independence. His father joined the Viet Minh Front, so his mom took care of all the children. He followed his mom in evacuating to a very remote countryside, where he worked as a farmer, a little water buffalo boy tending cattle in the wilderness. He obeyed his parents' order to escape to Saigon in 1955.
