It's 2025 and for 18-year-old Poppy Winter, life on the self-sufficient island of Socius is bliss. Her simple days are spent tending to crops, and sharing out produce, and having secret fantasies about Stuart from the Collective. On the neighbouring island of UMAH, President Monteray's daughter Fenella is juggling a law degree, orchestra recitals, and her fated infatuation with the son of her Dad's main political rival.
