Publisher Marketing: The mummy of a man who's been hanged, stabbed and drowned in a peat bog in northern England turns Jocelyn Durant's comfortable world upside down when her friend, Dr. Graham Thackeray invites her to his Oxford lab to view it. A long forgotten curse and a star crossed romance serve to complicate matters as the intriguing mystery travels through time as effortlessly as it crosses the globe from present day England, to eighteenth century France, to tribal Urubaland and the Caribbean. Graham and Jocelyn are the best of friends and perhaps a good deal more, but the mystery of the Bog Man quickly tests their loyalties, could any relationship survive the temptations the treasure of the mummy presents?
