?Mountain Rescue Dialogues? is a collection of poetry in which I utilize abstract images and emotive language to express feelings and experiences related to self awareness, interaction with others, and an affected outlook on the workings of the world. The ?Mountain Rescue Dialogues? was burning like a rescue from this world covered with dust and obsessions, but like a mutiny against everything, thinking that any life is a story, a kind of good that is from my mind. The Poem: ?Flurry of Ideas? deals with issues of identity in the context of a relationship, sketching images of search and scrutiny: ??I?m finding you That means: you, and? you And everybody else But I?m losing my self And nothing remains.? Another poem: ?Nobody? reflects on the ways that involvement with others may affect a sense of self-image and self esteem, focusing on an urge to erase all evidence of one?s existence: ?I want to be nobody The crucified lowered from the cross To amazing curves Transfigured on the same slogan Of banned bad habits I want to be nobody Because nobody is dying.? These combinations of alliterations and stark imagery characterize the majority of ?Mountain Rescue Dialogues?. I seek to communicate my ideas through a marked variance of style and format.
