Since their debut in 2023, the South Korean K-pop group RIIZE has established itself as one of the most successful new boy bands on the international K-pop scene. The group consists of six members – Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton – and was formed by SM Entertainment, which is also behind big names like EXO, NCT, and aespa.

RIIZE stands out in particular with their characteristic musical style, which they themselves call Emotional Pop. Here, catchy pop melodies, funk, R&B, and danceable rhythms are combined with youthful stories about love, friendship, and personal development. Together with the group's impressive choreography and more relaxed, down-to-earth image, this has helped create a strong connection to their dedicated fanbase, BRIIZE.

Success came almost instantly with the debut single Get A Guitar, which sold over a million copies in its first week alone. Hits like "Love 119" and "Boom Boom Bass" quickly cemented the group's popularity, while the 2024 debut EP RIIZING became yet another million-selling release. With their first full-length album, ODYSSEY (2025), RIIZE took another big step forward, selling nearly 1.8 million copies in its release week. In doing so, they underscored their position as one of the most prominent K-pop groups of the new generation.
