Enuff Z'nuff
One of the best glam albums ever. With psychedelic, pop, blues, Southern rock and more influences seeping into this album, it was so overlooked and so much better than the straight-forward L. A. stuff that came out around the same time. In the evolution of power pop, there needed to be a band like Enuff Z'Nuff during the hair metal period. Their influences were closer to bands like Cheap Trick, Badfinger, Big Star, and the Beatles. They were shooting for a little more depth in their sound like in the psychedelic tinged opening "New Thing" and their biggest hit "Fly High Michelle", or heavily power pop influenced "For Now" and gorgeous ballad "I Could Never Be Without You".
