CATAWBA COUSINS SERIES is a ten book collection of fifty years worth of short stories, true stories, poems, songs, and slightly warped nursery rhymes written by Maw Maw D for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Some of the stories revolve around their Native American heritage. The cousins are members of the Catawba Indian Nation located in South Carolina. Each book contains Native American Words of Wisdom and Catawba words with translations. Book Two: LIFE INSIDE A TURTLE SHELL is an original Fairy Tale written in honor of Willow, Maw Maw D's grand-Turtle belonging to daughter Evie. Willow and Sir Shell-don save the Fairies of Hummingbird Island from an invasion of Dragonflies determined to pluck the wings off the fairies to gain their fairy-power.
