The Seventh House

From the first Ranger came from Marlag the Chief Ranger to tell Fort Durmon that the land of AinNur had been invaded, and the n over the months that tales of their brutality escalated, the influx of fleeing perrianath and Dwarves and geomantists, the sudden appearance of new allies, and even newer ffolke that had been sealed off behind the Great Sand Sea longer than the Seventh House had been on AinNur and who worshiped the Great Mother! The derviousness of the emperor Jansilav IV who has started this invasion in motion, and who also set more than a half dozen other plots in motion to assure himself that none of the principles would survive, no matter the outcome of the invasion, and then he had al of their vessels burned and the arsonists killed! The tales whithin the camps that made up the invasion force would have been ludicrous if they had not of outnumbered the defenders more seventy five thousand to sixteen! The delivery of special brew to the invaders in the hopes that certain of the invaders leader's enemies would seize upon that very brew and thereby make sure that none but them could drink of it, and there fore make sure that none but them would be affected by it on the Full Moon of S'Amasia when the brew would turn them into mindless killing machines for three days, and it was hoped that it would allows the defenders of Fort Durmon the chance to destroy them, and give Arthemus of Mænarus, a slim chance of saving himself and the bulk of the invasion force from further death and maybe some hope of a future.
