Born from Magic 1st edition

Nate can finally return to school after he has gone through the awakening and learned to control his witch powers. He had been looking forward to that day for a very long time, but the day does not go as he had imagined. He had hoped for a chance of an ordinary life with friends from school but is once again thrown into the battle between good and evil.    His best friend disappears, and this disappearance points to Europe. An ancient evil is stirring. An enemy stronger than anything Nate had ever imagined, and it has its eyes on Nate. The enemy needs him to be able to awaken the forces of chaos. He will have to summon all his abilities not to become a pawn in their game.       
Excerpt from the book “You shouldn’t be here.” he said threateningly. At the very moment he said that he raised his arm with his palm turned my way. Shocked, I noticed it was glistening with blood. A rune was cut into his hand. A rune I was sure I had seen before. I just could not remember from where? The energy pulsating from it hit me and sent me several yards back crashing flat on my back. All air was knocked out of my lungs when I landed. I tried to catch my breath, but before I could get to my feet, he stood bent over me with his palm down towards me. I could smell the blood, that is how close he was.
About the authorAnette Guldager Boye was born in Odense in 1969. She is married and lives with her husband and two children in a little town near Odense in Denmark. Her master’s in history she achieved with the topic Witch trials on the local Island of Funen, and she works at Odense City Museum. It is a lifelong passion of hers studying the old tales and folklore of Scandinavia.
