Ragpickers' Soiree is a satirical look at the underbelly of working in America. Stowaways on a container ship en route from Malaysia to New Jersey, a convicted labor boss, an unwitting attorney, a decimated NLRB making one last gasp for glory, an employer trying to beat the system, replacement workers, sit down strikers and asylum seekers populate this improbable romp that will have you rooting for unlikely heroes and accomplished villains.
