Brent Strome has just moved to Chicago from his childhood home in New York. Deciding to set up his own dog-walking business, he sets about making friends and finding clients, putting aside his dream of wanting to become a journalist. When he accidentally runs into his next-door neighbor - who also has a dog - Brent thinks he's a lucky guy.
