Penny Bridge is a woman who lives a mundane life in Seattle for many years under assumed name. She is everything but ordinary; as she hiding from people from foreign militia, including her late husband's employer, the F. B. I. When she is sent overseas to recover documents for her employer she is placed in a predicament, and her real identity is revealed. When she is using her old contacts from the past she surfaces on their radar, and she is now on the run for her life. There is only one person she can trust with her life, that is Harris, a maverick journalist and MI6 agent. He is the only one that can help her.
