2016 has been a year of new lows, even by Brenda Wilde's standards. Jobless, friendless and penniless, her sister is getting married in a couple of weeks, her boyfriend is a customer service chatbot, and the BBC won't return her calls. Her dreams of becoming an Internet celebrity have long since gone up in smoke, even before Anonymous hacked all her accounts.
