A young nomad is searching across the Siberian steppes looking for a new home for his tribe, when he encounters a community of secretive and mysterious people. They are trapped in exile with a binding cast by a powerful sorcerer far to the east. They ask the young hunter to take a great gift to this evil Magi so he would release them from this entrapment. The hunter, whose name is Chulo, accepts the quest and takes his brother Belot and an adventurer named Vance Rockfield, a dashing three-thousand year-old werewolf and renowned swordsman, to accompany him. Together, they journey across the Alaska Peninsula and on down to Cascadia where they meet up with the sorcerer and his son who are nothing like what the trio were told. Now the Magi reveals the terrifying truth about the beings in exile. But it is too late. The gift has been given.
