Brenda Oldson marries the man her parents pick out for her. When things don't work out, she strikes out on her own. Seeing the development and growth on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, she decides that this is where she needs to be to start her own businesses in graphic design and interior decorating. But can she make it on her own? She keeps thinking of Dan Stanley, an old boyfriend from a summer fling. Will any man measure up to what she felt with Dan? Brenda wants more out of life.
