The Border Incident

Sonny Kalup, a former Navy SEAL, DEA Agent, and Assistant U. S. Attorney returns, this time after having been asked by the Governor of Texas to accept the position of Special Prosecutor in a case involving three U. S. Border Patrol Agents who have been accused by the Mexican government of firing across the border and killing one of their border patrol agents. Sonny accepts the position and from the beginning of the investigation his efforts are impeded by the activities of the Sonora Drug Cartel. A territorial dispute between that cartel and the Colombian Estrada Cartel erupts into more violence along the border. As the story unfolds, confusion, deceit, corruption, further brutality, and murder all stand in the way of justice. What follows is a plot replete with dark alleys, sub plots, and action that will change the lives of Sonny and the members of his team forever.
