Kelsey was still grieving over the loss of her beloved husband Charlie. Upset and frustrated over the fact that no one could understand why it was so hard for her to get past the pain of losing Charlie so unexpectedly.

While dwelling on these thoughts, there was a knock on her back door. Knowing who it could be, from the phone call she'd had with her old friend she was still unprepared to come face to face with her childhood best friend, Gloria.

As they caught up, Kelsey soon discovers what her friend had been up to all these years they had lost touch. As secrets unfolded, with twists and turns, beginning with the horrific trauma Gloria had survived.

Kelsey couldn't believe she had never been told of what had happened to her friend, feeling guilt at losing touch only added to her feelings of despair.

Gloria explained that with the help from an unexpected source, she was able to heal and build a new life for herself. Gloria was positive that if Kelsey would returned home with her, she'd be able to help her through her grief.

Just as Kelsey was thinking about letting Gloria help her, news reached Gloria that the friend that had saved her all those years ago was murdered.

Neither woman would be content to just sit back and wait for answers. They needed to help solve the mystery of why someone would want Spence dead.
