Story about a writer in later midlife working on a "day job" as a nightscoper in a large city in the USA, commuting long distances between the city and a backwoods home where he lives with his partner. While researching a major writing project the writer hits on an exciting new way of fictionizing which he dubs jyze. At about the same time a crisis arises over the nightscoping job and the writer finds himself deploying jyze as a way of both describing the crisis and coping with it, while jyze itself mutates into a form of autofiction. The result is "Jyzeburst," which turns out to be the first volume of Annals of The Jyze Age. This larger work covers a personally tumultuous ten-year period in the life of the writer, a/k/a Jyzer G, and could well be subtitled The Consequences of Jyze. Here are the titles of the seven subsequent annals in chronological order: "Jyzemelt," "Jyze and Jyze Alone," "Jyze in Love," "Deep Jyze," "The Jyze Millennium," "Jyze of the Heavenly Year," and "Scat Jyze."
