Love Presumed

Joe Black, heir to his father, William Black's development empire is charged with expanding the company's new Alaska office. He arrives to find shoddy work, numerous problems, a skeletal office staff and threats of danger. His plans to marry Linda Sloan will have to wait. Linda and Joe are in love and have a presumed but unspoken agreement of marriage. She has been assistant to Joe and his father for several years. After Joe's tumultuous divorce she came to love Joe and his children. Now he has brought her to Alaska with him to run the office and she assumes, to get married. She arrives to be confronted with hostility, silence, and uncertainty. Will this silence destroy their love or cost them their lives - or both?
