A group of female lawyers, law clerks and paralegals band together in a search for justice after they have been the victims of sexual abuse by their male counterparts. Their goal is to have their abusers resign from the practice of law. They are mentored by a retired California Superior Court Judge, who also operates a murder-for-hire operation from his home. The Judge convinces the group to change their name from the Female Optimization Group to the Face of God with nefarious intentions. When 3 of his top assassins are marked for death, each with a contract to kill the other 2, they join forces to answer the question: Why? Meanwhile, Roger Legion takes on a bad faith insurance case that threatens to destroy not only an insurance company, but also Roger Legion's reputation. All questions are answered and situations resolved at an event that will come to be known as 'The Battle at Rancho Santa Fe.'
