Soundtracks of a Life 1st edition

"... Music brightened the daytime and made me feel glad, And made the nights shorter when tough times got bad..."

I thought about the words I had written in a poem; and that's how the book was born. Then, my soundtracks, snippets of more than six hundred songs from my lifetime were recorded chronologically onto tape. In listening to the music, hearing the songs over and over again, the recollections began to flow; and my memoir, Soundtracks Of A Life, was penned. Music enhances memory because of the emotional attachments we make with a song. Yes, a song will take you there, conjuring up vivid images of time and place. Included between the chapters are stories submitted by celebrities you know, such as Quincy Jones, Doris Day, Bruce Jenner, Arnold Palmer, and others. Some storytellers will be strangers to you. One thing, however, is certain; you'll know many of their soundtracks.
